To be born to oneself

Naître à soi is an original figurative painting centered on a dark-skinned hand holding the stem of a flower in full bloom. Framed from the wrist to the fingertips, the hand rises vertically across the canvas while the flower radiates at the top of the composition. Fine lines, luminous curves and splatters surround the subject, heightening the sense of movement and emergence.
